Responsibilities:

Inspects work areas and how people work to identify and propose measures to correct unsafe work and environmental conditions, methods and practices (risk assessment)

Intervenes, advises and if necessary, reports if working professionals are found working under unsafe conditions or having unsafe or inappropriate environmental work practices. (auditing)

Conducts appropriate HSE orientation programs for employees (basic level trainings)
-
Conducts accident/incident investigation and prepares investigation reports factually and timely. (reporting and monitoring)

Gives advice and support to the Management / organizations employees in matters relating to HSE (continuous improvement)
-
Responsible for monitoring and reporting on the health, safety and environmental performance and supports an injury-free and environmentally sustainable workplace.

Supports internal/external audits to assure compliance and continuous improvement of HSE
-
Supports / responsible for one facility/site, also Subject Matter Expert for e.g., Machine Safety, Chemicals, Environment
Qualifications:

Safety Certificate
-
Bachelor's degree (technical degree) or certification such as CIH or equivalent certification (e.g., Supervisor Training)
-
Willingness to occasional travel
-
3 to 5 years of job relevant experience
- Willingness to be in manufacturing environment and site-based
