Position Details:
The Field Sales Manager (FSM) manages up to 15 outside Field Account Representatives (FARs) within an assigned geographic area. The FSM is responsible for the financial performance of your assigned approx. $15M - $20M geographic area as well as the hiring, management, and development of direct reporting FARs. This role could lead a sales team that could be remotely located.
You Will:

  • Facilitate cross function team meetings with branch employees, sellers, Branch Managers, and customers.
  • Coach, counsel, and develop the sales team.
  • Plan, solve problems, perform analysis
  • Develop effective internal partner relationships and relationships with customers so that goals can be achieved.
  • Review financial reporting to analyze needs, costs/budgets, and economic earnings.


You Have:

  • At least 4 years of outside sales experience
  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent job-related experience
  • 2 years of prior managerial experience or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrate competence in the application of computer software and technology that supports sales goals
  • Must have presentation skills, be customer focus, and be able to manage change.
  • Must be able to motivate, inspire, and achieve results through others.
  • A valid driver's license
