Position Overview:
The Campaign and Content Manager is responsible for leading the development of integrated marketing campaigns and content that drives brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
This role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and manages the team that develops brand strategy, social media and paid media. They will be both very hands on and the strategic leader for multi-channel campaigns. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams so campaigns are differentiated in the industry, aligned with business objectives and resonate with our cities, consumer and small business segments.
The ideal candidate is a creative thinker that has media and management experience, strong communication skills and a passion for brand storytelling. This individual will be hands-on in creating content, blogs, and social campaigns to deliver high-quality, engaging materials that attract and convert audiences while setting high expectations for the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of comprehensive marketing campaigns and evergreen activities that support brand initiatives, product launches, and business goals on paid, earned and owned channels
- Overseeing the work of people and agencies developing campaigns and media buying
- Collaborate with marketing operations, go to market, PR and creative teams to define campaign objectives, target audiences, messaging, testing, adaptation and optimization
- Oversee a cohesive content strategy that supports the overarching marketing and business objectives, focusing on engaging storytelling and value-driven content
- Plan, create, and curate compelling stories, including blog posts, short-form video, graphics, social media posts and other new ideas for engaging with audiences
- Write and review content personally to ensure it meets high-quality standards and aligns with Ting’s objectives
- Identify opportunities for experimentation, content optimization, SEO and performance measurement to refine messaging, creative execution, and targeting for maximum impact
- All marketing team members at every level are expected to spend up to 20% of their time in market to assist in city launches and activities as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field; or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in marketing campaign management, content development, media planning or a related role
- 2+ years of management experience
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, media plans or content strategies
- Strong writing and strategy skills, with the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with target audiences
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience using marketing automation and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Looker and HubSpot a plus
The base salary range for this position is $93,900 - $130,000. Range shown in $USD for US residents. Other countries will differ. Range may vary on a number of factors including, but not limited to: location, experience and qualifications.
