R1 is looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager for the Business Intelligence department, which is a lean, high-performing, cross-functional team. This role involves overseeing the development and enhancement of the performance management and analytics team, acting as a central contact between the Operational team and key departments like Business Intelligence, Commercial, FP&A, and Accounting. The Manager will leverage cross-functional capabilities and expertise to function with and teach all four pillars of analytics: descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive
Here’s what you will experience working as a Manager, Business Intelligence:
- Strategic Partnership: Become a trusted advisor to Senior Leadership by mastering operational performance KPIs and providing insightful decision support. Leverage your expertise to drive strategic initiatives, enhance operational efficiency, and influence key decision-making processes. This role is responsible for making significant contributions that directly impact the success and growth of the organization.
- Performance Management: Conduct in-depth analyses of organizational performance and devise innovative strategies to boost productivity and drive efficiency. Ensure operational leaders are held accountable for achieving performance goals and continuously improving team outcomes.
- Performance Monitoring: Proactively track and assess key performance metrics. Communicate performance results clearly and provide actionable insights that drive top-line revenue growth. Ensure transparency and understanding of performance trends across the organization.
- Leadership (Player-Coach): Cultivate a collaborative and supportive team environment that prioritizes delivering actionable insights and fostering continuous improvement. Lead by example and mentor team members, encouraging professional growth and development.
- Reporting & Analytics: Innovate and develop comprehensive reporting and analytics content to enhance transparency and provide deeper insights into key initiatives and activities. Leverage data to inform strategic decisions and drive business success.
- Analytics & Insights: Engage in hands-on analytics to recommend enhancements to revenue performance solutions. Deliver deep analytical insights to diagnose performance results and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Predictive Analytics: Oversee the delivery of quarterly performance targets and maintain a reliable and accurate monthly forecast. Utilize predictive analytics to anticipate trends and inform strategic planning.
- Communication: Communicate complex concepts effectively and clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Translate functional requests into technical requirements for developers, ensuring alignment and understanding across all stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Ideally 6 years’ experience in an analytics-related role within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- RCM Healthcare industry experience.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
- Advanced Excel data modeling skills.
- Preferred experience with Power BI
- Preferred experience in acquiring and leveraging publicly available domain data.
Desired Skills:
- Detail-oriented with strong project and process management skills.
- Proficiency in Snowflake or T-SQL.
- Excellent cross-functional capabilities and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to influence at all levels of an organization and drive preferred outcomes.
- Highly analytical with the ability to derive key insights from ambiguous data sets.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to respond quickly to evolving opportunities.
- Uncompromising attention to detail and systematic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with a results-driven, team-oriented culture.
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $69,556.00 - $114,234.05 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 10.00%
