Lyft Media is seeking a Manager of Account Managers to lead a team of talented Account Managers and Ad Ops Managers who oversee advertiser relationships, campaign execution, and revenue growth. This position requires a strategic leader with a passion for operational excellence, team development, and driving advertiser success.

Based in New York or Los Angeles, you will be responsible for scaling our post-sale operations and fostering long-term partnerships with some of the world’s most recognizable brands. You’ll work closely with Sales, Operations, Product, and Analytics teams to ensure seamless campaign execution, deliver exceptional client value, and contribute to Lyft Media’s broader revenue goals.

About You:

  • Proven experience managing high-performing account management or client success teams in media, advertising, or a related industry in addition to experience managing Managers of People.
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the media landscape, including digital, programmatic, and video advertising.
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing talent and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of Account Managers and Ad Ops Managers, empowering them to deliver exceptional results and foster client trust.
  • Client Strategy: Partner with senior clients and internal teams to create tailored media strategies that maximize campaign performance and ROI.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish scalable workflows and best practices for campaign execution, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the team.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive incremental revenue by identifying upsell opportunities, securing renewals, and contributing to client growth strategies.
  • Performance Management: Analyze campaign results and help the team deliver actionable insights to clients, ensuring Lyft Media products deliver value beyond expectations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Operations, Product, and Analytics teams to influence ad product development and improve campaign execution.
  • Leadership Reporting: Provide regular updates to Lyft Media leadership on team performance, client success, and actionable market insights.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent Lyft Media in client meetings, industry events, and internal forums as a trusted leader and advocate for innovative advertising solutions.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in account management, client services, or media, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in digital and programmatic advertising; experience in transit or mobility advertising is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and campaign management platforms.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to New York, NY, or Los Angeles, CA, with occasional travel as required.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid

The expected base pay range for this position in the New York City area is $158,400 - $198,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
