Role
Octus is currently looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing existing relationships with buyside accounts within the continental United States through subscription renewals and account expansion, uplifts and cross-selling of additional Octus products. This full-time position is located in our New York City offices (on a hybrid, 3 days/week schedule).
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the renewal cycle for Octus’ subscription relationships within the buyside sector
- Manage key client interactions with a determined focus on expansion opportunities within accounts and subscription renewals targeting 115%+ net retention
- Collaborate with customer success to deliver excellent client service and customer experience
- Coordinate with Octus’ product team to identify opportunities for product and platform enhancements
- Track and analyze KPIs and product usage on accounts to determine appropriate relationship management strategy
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an account management capacity, renewing, upselling, and cross-selling solutions to buyside clients
- Strong ability to build relationships and business partnerships to meet and exceed net retention targets
- Proven success in hitting quota and retention targets
- Organized, detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and respond quickly; ability to keep on top of all requirements with multiple ongoing workstreams
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication
- Experience with Salesforce

At Octus, we consider a range of factors in connection with compensation decisions, including experience, skills, location, and our business needs and limitations. As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth.
The base salary range estimate for this position is $105,000 - $125,000. This position is also eligible for a quarterly commission bonus.
The actual compensation will be at Octus’ sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors.
