Inside the Role
This position will oversee inbound and outbound domestic and international shipments as well as internal order processing relating to the North America Consolidation Center. This person will insure inbound receiving documentation and outbound shipping documentation accuracy for both record keeping and auditing purposes. This role requires close collaboration with the following departments/partners: CC Order Center, DDC Supplier Management, DDC Transportation, DDC Packaging Engineering, DDC Supplier Quality, DDC & DLC Plant Warehouse Operations, Freight Forwarders, Carriers among other departments.

Position offers a starting salary range of $58,000 – $75,000 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

What You Drive at DTNA
- Maintain and process receiving and shipping records
- Work with freight forwarders and carriers for both inbound and outbound shipments
- Coordinate ocean, TL, LTL, parcel, air and expedite bookings and shipments
- Collaborate with CC Order Center personnel to prioritize and monitor outbound shipments to ensure on-time deliveries to customers
- Investigate and resolve both internal and external receiving and shipping issues and work with other functional groups as required
- Create internal packing orders, assign work to hourly team members and assist hourly team members with various system and process related issues
- Create and maintain metrics, KPI’s, records and reports both internally and externally
- Create line-call’s and work with Vendor Scheduling and Packaging Engineering for resolution
- Perform cycle counts, row audits, and yearly wall to wall inventories and participate in inventory meetings
- Participate in and/or lead special project teams in order to continuously improve processes
Knowledge You Should Bring
- Associate’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience OR 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Demonstrated analytical skills

- Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
