Job Responsibilities:
Summary of Responsibilities
Maintain inventory levels for all crib stock non-production items, to include: receipts, and stock rotation through distribution to associates in all departments. Supply maintenance and manufacturing team members to keep production machinery operational.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow and enforce all plant safety rules and policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all crib items.
  • Coordinate with purchasing all incoming shipments of crib stock items.
  • Ensure accurate inventory levels on specific spare parts inventories for dedicated production lines and maintenance functions.
  • Ensure department associates are provided with necessary supplies to perform their job functions.
  • Operate as a cooperative cohesive team to perform effectively and efficiently.
  • Daily cycle count
  • Maintain a minimum inventory of spare spares in the crib.
  • Promote good housekeeping (5s).
  • Data entry of purchase requisitions.
  • Package items to prevent damage in transit (bags, bubble wrap, etc.).
  • Label products with shelf life requirements.
  • Scan bins for replenishment stock from the min/max levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Able to work flexible hours supporting three (3) shifts
  • Must be able to understand written instructions


Education and Experience Required

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • Experience in crib operation over a period of 3-5 years preferred
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and organization skills.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Some mechanical skills


Work Environment

  • Includes office and manufacturing plant
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions as appropriate on the plant floor, in meetings, and with employees of all departments, management, customers and suppliers
  • Provide support for three shifts and weekend production schedule
  • Flexible hours and able to work additional hours as required
