The Legal Operations Business Partner supports legal and contracting functions with process and practice efficiency to streamline processes, increase effectiveness and collaboration with various internal teams, facilitate change, and control costs. We are looking for someone with impeccable attention to detail, high energy, strong project management skills, great oral and written communication skills, and a positive attitude.Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Legal Operations Business Partner will include, but not be limited to:
- Serve as the Legal Department’s lead administrator within Nordic’s technology-enabled solutions supporting legal operations (including Malbek Contrax CLM, DocuSign, ServiceNow, NetSuite, and Microsoft SharePoint)
- Work and collaborate closely with members of Nordic’s Legal Team, IT Team, Client Partnerships Team and Business Leaders to develop and enhance standardized contract playbooks, templates, processes and workflows in the CLM system.
- Act as a power user of the CLM system; stay up-to-date regarding system upgrades and new features, and communicate to users as needed
- Develop data-driven decision making, reporting, and process optimization within the Legal Department
- Manage onboarding and training of new users and oversee and respond to user support and enhancement requests
- Assist legal and contracting functions to identify, progress and manage strategic and operational initiatives
- Lead efforts in process improvements and other projects that enhance and streamline legal operations processes, education, systems, and tools
- Collect and analyze department data for metric evaluation and project performance
- Keep organized electronic files and support execution of compliance-related tasks
- Execute tasks that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may lead or assist in other projects and initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested
Skills and Experience
- Experience administering an enterprise-level Contract Lifecycle Management system
- Solid knowledge and experience using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- 5 years of experience in a similar role in a corporate environment
- Impeccable attention to detail, project management, communication, and prioritization skills
- Must be able to work independently as well as within a team environment and adapt quickly to changes in work environments
- Strong work ethic and high degree of professionalism
- Experience working with confidential materials
- Must demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims

- Occasional travel up to 5% of the time
