As our Leading Hand in our Gisborne branch, you will provide leadership and support to your team of heavy diesel technicians, predominantly working in the field, on customers sites. You will be responsible for ensuring work efficiency, productivity and quality, safety, coaching and mentoring, warranty claims and associated administrative work. You will also undertake your own on tools work and complete jobs alongside your leadership responsibilities.
The Gisborne branch covers the whole Tairawhiti region, where forestry makes up a large portion of the work.

We are seeking:
-
A qualified and experienced heavy diesel technician
-
2+ years’ experience in our industry
-
An understanding of operational processes and systems
-
Experience leading, mentoring and coaching a team Is preferred
This role requires you to work closely with other Terra staff to ensure our customers have a great experience every time, so top-notch communication and organisational skills are essential.
Pay range for this role is $42 - $50/hour plus applicable allowances and a service vehicle.
