We are seeking a skilled Lead System Analyst to lead and manage the support of risk applications within our department. This role combines technical expertise with project management capabilities to ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of critical risk-related systems. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring seamless operations and delivering value to the organization.
Application Support:
- Provide day-to-day operational support for risk applications, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and issue prevention.
- Monitor application performance, ensuring uptime, reliability, and optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement bug fixes, patches, and software updates.
- Maintain application documentation, including user manuals, configuration details, and support processes.
System Analysis:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions for risk applications.
- Conduct impact assessments for system changes and enhancements.
- Identify areas for improvement and optimization within existing risk systems.
Project Management:
- Plan and execute projects related to risk applications, including upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and escalate issues as necessary.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and vendors to address application-related needs.
- Gather feedback from end users to identify areas for enhancement and prioritize improvements.
- Facilitate training and onboarding for users on risk application functionalities.
Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies for risk applications.
- Proactively identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Perform periodic reviews of application security, data integrity, and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10+ years in system analysis, application support, or project management, preferably within risk or financial applications.
- Proven experience managing and supporting complex enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks, tools, and practices.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of system architectures, databases (SQL, Oracle), and integration technologies (APIs, middleware).
- Hands-on experience with risk management platforms or applications.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices and tools for incident and change management.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (Jira, MS Project).
- Hands-on experience on managing and deploying cloud infrastructure
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
