Programmers Force is looking for a talented and experienced Lead PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. As a technical leader, you will oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure backend solutions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in PHP and related technologies, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to mentor and guide a team to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of backend systems using PHP (Laravel) and other modern technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability through best coding practices.
- Oversee database design and management, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Implement containerization using tools like Docker and Kubernetes to streamline development and deployment pipelines.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them into the development process as appropriate.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality output.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across all phases of development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend software development
- Expertise in PHP (Laravel) and proficiency in additional programming languages such as Python or Node.js.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Experience with database management systems, including SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or lead a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across teams.
