Position Summary
CDK is seeking a Financial Systems Team Lead to join the Corporate Financial Systems team, working closely with Finance and IT leading the Oracle Cloud (Fusion) ERP. Responsible for the analysis and evaluation of user systems and process problems, developing system recommendations to meet business requirements. This job works on moderately complex problems, determining and developing approaches for accomplishing objectives under limited supervision.
The ideal candidate will be a strong self-starter that works well with minimal direction and ambiguity, learns new concepts quickly, is comfortable leading large cross-functional teams and can build strong partnerships within accounting, finance, IT and other partner groups across the company.
Position Responsibilities & Essential functions:
- Direct and Lead initiatives related to Oracle Financial Applications.
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP): GAAP & IFRS GLs, Sub Ledgers: Lease Accounting, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
- General Ledger Allocations
- Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS)
- Governance of Oracle General Ledger (GL) account maintenance: activate/troubleshoot/maintain GL strings & security rules.
- Support Salesforce Billing and Right Rev (Revenue Recognition) metadata configurations, integrations to GL.
- Collaboration with IT on system configurations, application, and integration settings across Oracle ERP EPM ARCS.
- Responsible for the analysis and evaluation of user business problems and the development of system solutions to meet business area requirements.
- Analyze moderately complex business issues with recommendations for automated systems, or business process solutions.
- Identify initiatives, evaluate and prioritize requirements, and partner with IT Corporate Applications and Project Management Office to implement systems to meet internal business and user requirements for non-routine projects.
- Performs system testing and validations in alignment with business requirements under limited supervision.
- Collaborate with and represent the organization on multiple cross-functional areas externally and internally for the implementation of system and business processes.
- Develop Power BI reports.
- Evaluate new software products to determine their applicability to current and future IT environments.
- Exercise sound judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions when accomplishing objectives.
- Applies a broad range of theories, concepts, principles, and methodologies to developmental assignments.
Qualifications & Job Requirements:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Information Systems
- 10-12 years of relevant experience working with corporate financial systems
- Oracle Cloud ERP expertise required.
- Salesforce Billing, CRMA and Revenue Recognition experience a plus.
- CPA credentials preferred with 2 years’ public accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency with MS Advanced Excel skills including Pivot tables, lookups, and Macros
- Proven ability to quickly learn business processes and adapt to changing priorities
- Aptitude to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to interact with all levels
- Strong analytical skills in problem solving, business processes and attention to detail
- Superior judgment and discretion working with both confidential and sensitive information
- Medium-large scale Project management and/or ERP implementation experience a plus
Preferred Attributes & Qualifications
- Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Information Technology
- Oracle Cloud ERP and/or EDMCS certification
Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000
CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.
