Senior Financial Analyst, Strategic Planning at a Glance....
The Senior Finance Analyst, Strategic Planning role resides on one of the most cross-functional, influential teams in the North America Zone (NAZ) and is instrumental in the annual budgeting and long-term planning processes. This position will be accountable to understanding the overall planning stance of various business units by managing the process, reviewing for strategic continuity, and communicating to leadership. This role is not routine focused but rather meets the needs of the business. This role requires a passionate, curious individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage fast-paced requests. The role consistently demands process improvement and creative thinking to operate better and faster for the various stakeholders in the business.
What's on the menu?
- Build, own, and update the annual operating plan (AOP) and 3-year plan master models which include various financial analyses such as PVM, trend bends, and NSV to Consumption, as well as lead initiatives to simplify and standardize the data inputs each year
- Coordinate the aggregation and storytelling of various business unit's long-term financial plans by managing a driver-based model and a P&L model. Ownership of the financial plans allows this individual to communicate key observations and concerns directly to the NA CFO
- Ownership of the NAZ brand financials and dashboard, which allocates the P&L down to brand. Investor relations, global finance, marketing, and BU finance will leverage these outputs to communicate to various stakeholders on the success of our iconic brands
- Facilitate the annual brand valuation process by working with multiple cross functional partners - BU finance, BU RGM, Accounting - to qualitatively & quantitatively support the cash flows through strategic understanding of the business and analyzing valuation models
- Oversee the workstream to load the AOP into the financial system. This entails learning the current iteration of the financial system, creating the inputs, coordinating the timeline with stakeholders, project managing the process with finance IT via weekly meetings, reviewing for accuracy, and finally, communicating broadly with the organization on how to retrieve the data from the financial system
- Provide key financial insights and analysis when setting the company's financial ambition through the preparation of presentation materials and weekly discussions
- Support the AD, Strategic Finance & Growth and strategic partners such as IT, Sales, and FP&A on a multitude of ad-hoc requests and discussions, such as monthly reporting analyses, outlook projections, and key issue visibility

- BS in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration required or Engineering degree with finance experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance/Accounting required
- Ability to effectively lead, manage, and prioritize multiple tasks, while operating in a fast-paced, complex organization with shifting schedules and priorities
- Detail-oriented with a high sense of urgency and exceptional organizational skills
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Confident communication - must have the ability to communicate insights or issues within peer group and with manager
- Operates with a team, customer service, and leadership mentality

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$88,000.00 - $110,000.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
