We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to lead the business activities of the company in Japan. Reporting to the General Manager, the Key Account Manager will be the first in command in the company and responsible for giving the proper strategic direction as well as creating a vision for success for expanding Board presence in existing customers.
The ideal candidate will have a business mindset and will be able to be an inspiring leader and see the “big picture” in a variety of settings. The goal is to drive the company’s business development activities and guide it towards long-term success.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the business’s strategic account planning processes proactively
- Develop performance objectives, sales targets, and critical milestones for weekly/monthly/annual periods.
- Forster the creation of new business within existing clients
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing top accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and engagement with BOARD platform and services , monitoring their needs to mitigate their concerns and finding new opportunities
- Supporting the definition and roll-out of specific growth strategies and approaches
What we look for:
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales
- Experience selling CPM/EPM, ERP, or BI software solutions
- Strong technical aptitude to learn the Board Platform and explain complex solutions
- Knowledge of Accounting and/or Financial concepts
- Familiarity with Budgeting, Planning, and Forecasting processes, Business Analytics, Data Visualization, Data Management, and Financial Reporting
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to large and small audiences
- Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities
- Native or bilingual proficiency in Japanese, and fluency in English
