Role Overview: 
How You’ll Add Value…The Key Accounts Manager is the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of top pharma/biotech accounts. The qualified candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong business relationships, developing, and executing strategic account plans, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet clients' needs. They generate revenue by ensuring client satisfaction and driving retention, renewals, and expansion of new or existing business.
Pharma & BioTech Key Account のすべての顧客を営業範囲としてカバーする。市場、競合及び自社サービスを理解し、売上最大化を図るために、直接及び販売店経由での間接販売に関し最適なルートを判断し売上に貢献する。直接販売に関しては、施設内勉強会の企画等計画実施及び製品プロモーション以外にも、正しく入札や契約全般を理解し実行することが重要となる。間接販売においては担当エリアの販売店の戦略を理解し、適切なターゲット顧客、ターゲットサービスを設定、プロモーション活動の実行及びフィードバックにより、広く案件の獲得を目指す。販売店へのプロモーションは Key Account の区別なく、販売目標の設定、管理、販売支援活動を実施する。また Pharma & BioTech Key Account のお客様に対し、販売店様との同行(単独訪問も行う)や、社内リソースの活用により、商談クロージングまで実施し、売り上げ拡大に貢献する。
Roles/ Responsibilities:
✓ Achieve annual sales goals within defined key accounts through the development, maintenance,
and enhancement of customer relationships. Accounts may include the leading Pharmaceutical
Companies and Biotech Companies within Japan.
✓ Drive growth of the Genomics business by developing and successfully executing account
management strategies.
✓ To perform continuous account mapping, identify and sell effectively to decision-making units in a 
solution-oriented team selling approach.
✓ To constantly monitor and assess market dynamics, RFP/RFI opportunities, competitive activities, 
business risks, and opportunities, report findings to the organization, and address them through 
tailored tactical sales plans.
✓ To organize and conduct business reviews and capabilities presentations to existing and potential 
new customers.
✓ Work as part of a nimble team and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders with the ultimate 
goal of bringing value to the customer that leads to revenue growth.
✓ Work cross-functionally with Regional Sales, Sales Specialists, Technical Support, and Corporate 
Development ensuring effective collaboration of resources to deliver on client needs.

✓ Pharma &BioTech Key Account 営業やその他の部署と職域を超えて連携し、顧客ニーズに対応す
ることで販売に貢献する。
✓ CRM を利用し、販売店分析、顧客分析を行い、営業活動の進捗報告及び精度の高いフォーキャ
ストを、関係者とシェアする
✓ 定期的な(営業)会議に参加し、進捗や今後の方針などの報告やプレゼンテーションを行う
✓ 営業計画の作成、CRM への登録、実行
✓ 顧客提案資料、販売店打合せ 資料作成
Experience/ Qualifications/ Attributes:
✓ Bachelor's Degree required (Biology or Life Sciences)
✓ 5+ years of relevant Genomics experience in a commercial role
✓ 2+ years of proven track record in meeting/exceeding sales goals selling to pharma/biotech 
accounts.
✓ Demonstrates keen business acumen, sound decision-making, analytical and organizational skills 
in a fast-paced environment; a consultative approach to managing client relationships.
✓ Confident communication (written and oral) skills and a demonstrated ability to work 
collaboratively with key stakeholders of internal and external organizations.
✓ Experience logging opportunities, tasks, and events within a CRM (I.e. Salesforce or similar)
✓ Must have a valid Japanese driver’s license.
✓ 理系大学・大学院卒で分子生物学の知識を有する方 (必須)
✓ ライフサイエンス業界において、直販だけでなく、販売店営業としての経験(必須)
✓ ジェノミックス受託サービスもしくは次世代シークエンサーの営業経験を有する方(プラス)
✓ 製薬企業への営業経験 5 年以上を有する方(必須)
✓ 変化をチャンスととらえ、ビジネスに結びつけることができる前向きな思考の方
✓ 社内外の多くの利害関係者を束ね、協力関係を構築できるよう、優れたプレゼン/コミュニケー
ションスキル(書面、口頭) を有する方
✓ リモートワーク下で自己管理ができ、業務が遂行できる方
