Your Opportunity:
International Graphics, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a Junior IT Administrator to join the team in Stratford, ON!
Your Shift: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees via email, phone, or in-person.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
- Help manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords in Active Directory or similar systems.
- Assist in network administration, including monitoring network performance and security.
- Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
- Document IT processes, system configurations, and support tickets.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of IT assets and software licenses.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
You Must Have:
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and hardware.
- Strong Excel experience
- Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and expand technical skills.
We Would Also Prefer:
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar IT certifications are a plus.
