Job Description

SmartDev is looking for a Junior C&B Specialist to join our HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing Compensation & Benefits (C&B) operations, ensuring accuracy in payroll, tax, insurance, and employee benefits while maintaining compliance with labor laws. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, has strong logical thinking, and is passionate about HR operations. 

Responsibilities: 

Payroll & Benefits Administration: 

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. 

• Manage personal income tax (PIT) declarations and ensure proper tax deductions. 

• Handle social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance procedures. 

• Maintain and update employee records related to salary, benefits, and tax. 

Compliance & Documentation: 

• Ensure all C&B processes comply with labor laws, tax regulations, and social insurance policies. 

• Prepare reports on salary, benefits, and related HR metrics for internal use. 

• Support audits and compliance checks by providing necessary documentation. 

Employee Support: 

• Address employee inquiries related to payroll, insurance, and benefits. 

• Provide guidance on policies regarding leave, benefits, and taxation. 

• Work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth execution of C&B operations. 

HR Data Analysis & Reporting 

• Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data from multiple sources (HRIS, payroll, performance management, engagement surveys, etc.). 

• Develop HR dashboards and reports to track key metrics such as headcount, turnover, retention, hiring trends, and employee satisfaction. 

• Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends to improve workforce planning and HR decision-making. 

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of full-time experience in C&B operations (payroll, tax, insurance, employee benefits, etc.). 

• Experience working in companies with 200+ employees. 

• Strong understanding of labor laws, tax regulations, and insurance policies in Vietnam. 

• Excellent logical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR systems. 

• Good communication skills and a customer service mindset. 

• Good English communication skills.
