The Opportunity
Join Hitachi Energy as an International Projects Manager and lead dynamic, remote teams to deliver transformative projects across North America. Based in Raleigh, NC, or anywhere within the Continental United States, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, ensuring projects meet technical, safety, quality, and financial targets. With up to 15% travel, you'll have the chance to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, driving excellence at every stage of project implementation. How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead remote and international project teams with clear guidelines, tasks, and milestones.
- Manage all aspects of projects to meet customer requirements and targets.
- Oversee the development of project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and risk management.
- Monitor project implementation to ensure best practices in scope control, cost control, and resource efficiency.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks, sharing lessons learned regularly.
- Coordinate contract negotiations and claims with customers, in collaboration with Supply Chain and Legal functions.
- Achieve project deliverables and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Proven capability to coordinate and lead remote teams in different geographic locations.
- Experience in managing project scope, cost, schedules, quality, and vendors/subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of Transformer offerings and the North American energy sector.
- Proficiency in SAP, MS Project, MS Excel, and other PM tools.
- Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong communication skills.
