In NC, we operate three pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities that are responsible for fulfilling different steps in our injectable and oral treatment supply chains. Our Emerging Technologies -Solid Dosage Forms US facility in Durham, NC is a 194,000 square foot tableting and packaging facility that supports the production of our innovative oral treatments for patients with type 2 diabetes. SDF maintains a curious and pioneering spirit, harmonious with our growing pipeline of new products and emerging technologies.

The Position
The positions key mission is to redefine the manufacturing approach by creating a fully data driven and continuous process for oral tablet formulation and optimize the manufacturing production and analysis from end to end. This position will be a key player to create a new paradigm that will alter the approach to drug development by redesigning and digitalizing the processes and transform data into data-driven decisions that enable the business to capitalize on opportunities within our manufacturing processes. This position will be onsite. Monday - Thursday 10hr day work week.

Essential Functions
- Serves as key partner to a broad range of business users to understand needs and requirements and identify the possibility for digital solutions
- Act as the main liaison between the site and the global team for receiving, requesting, and advocating for new local ideas
- Set direction for which solutions to be build and when (according to business priorities, impact, complexity, scalability potential, resource availability, etc.), together with relevant stakeholders
- Become an integral part of the teams, embracing and applying agile principles and methodologies in day-to-day operations
- Take lead on capturing and translating user requirements into actionable tasks for the development team
- Ensuring project implementation, change management, and delivery according to commitments
- Stay abreast of latest enhancements within relevant tech domain and interact with similar roles to share best practices and scale solutions
- Constantly seek out new and innovative ways to enhance the value delivery, and search for inspiration both internally and externally
- Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties

Physical Requirements
Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. % can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business from an accredited university required
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience working as a Project Manager, Product Owner/Manager required
- Solid experience with project management, agile development methodologies, defining product requirements, creating user stories, backlog management, and prioritization techniques required
- Knowledge within the field of software development and/or process automation methodologies (e.g. Microsoft Power Platform) required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders required
- Business acumen and work experience within manufacturing / pharma / supply chain processes will be an advantage a plus
- Familiarity with compliance and security requirements for automation solutions in regulated industries, such as pharma, healthcare or finance will be an advantage preferred
- Certified Product Owner/Project Manager a plus
- Basic knowledge on Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) a plus
- Advanced knowledge on Agile principles, methodology, and events required
- Advanced communication and negotiation skills as well as stakeholder management skills required
- Experience working in related domain (Pharma, software development etc.) preferred
- Advanced knowledge on Agile tools e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and DevOps preferred
- Advanced knowledge on backlog management tools and prioritization techniques a plus
