Systems Chief is looking for an IT professional to join our team in our Houston office. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in getting project experience both onsite and remote (from our office location and your home - flexible).


Responsibilities

  • Visit client company locations for varied onsite work, hardware installations, system updates, and infrastructure projects. 
  • Coordinate strongly with team and project manager on tasks (ask lots of questions) 
  • Perform tech support via ticketing system for clients (helpdesk related)
  • Assist with larger scale system migrations and/or networking projects
  • Field client calls for ticket creation
  • Develop your IT skills 


Requirements:

  • College degree related to Computer Systems/IT
  • Working knowledge of Networking concepts, IT Infrastructure, and computer systems
  • Technically savvy with strong communication skills
  • Experience troubleshooting issues and achieving solutions
  • The ability to explain to a non-technical person in a way they will understand
  • Preferred: Cisco or similar qualifying certifications
