Who You Are:
As Nutrabolt’s Help Desk Specialist you will provide support for local and remote users. You will focus on the processing/completion of helpdesk tickets, customer service, and triaging of help desk calls, emails, and other correspondence and other tasks involved with the usage of a computer and network resources.
What You're Good At:
- Triage helpdesk calls and escalate as needed
- Assist with printing systems (MFPs & Desktop models)
- Assist staff with integrated audio/visual solutions
- Deploying new PCs/MacBook’s
- Maintain IT inventory and stock
- Organize and maintain inventory of frequently used items (USBs, mice, etc.)
- Install and maintain user hardware and software systems
- Troubleshooting a variety of computer issues on-site, via phone, remote access or email
- Communicate with employees to diagnose and repair any issues that arise due to failing/failed software, hardware, or internet-based components
- Communicate daily with supervisors to keep all relevant staff aware of existing and future projects you are involved with
- Other projects as assigned by leadership
- Provide timely status updates to customers and IT management
What You Contribute:
- 1-2 years Desktop Support Experience
- Ability and Desire to learn and be taught
- Strong attention to detail
- Office365 Experience
- CompTIA A+ Certification Preferred
- Windows 10+ troubleshooting and setup experience
- Mac OS, iOS, Android troubleshooting and setup experience
- Strong background in PC repair and troubleshooting and remote support.
- Strong interpersonal skills and telephone communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees and customers alike to resolve technical issues
- Maintain professional demeanor in all communications with employees and customers alike
- Basic Knowledge of Active Directory
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and networking services (DNS)
