Job Purpose : This role is:
- This role requires the leadership and management of experienced IT BA resources who are dedicated to the analysis of business requirements and the delivery of appropriate Information Technology (IT) solutions across the Company.
- As practical leader in business analysis domain
Job Responsibilities
Scope 1: Analyze business needs
- To work closely with assigned department to initiate and implement both business strategic and system roadmap
- To have a deeply knowledge in business domain of assigned department.
- To determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
- To design new programs by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams including End-to-End process and Data flow; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
- To work closely with designer for UI/UX prototypes adapting all business functions
- To improve systems by studying current practices, designing modifications
- To have a good understanding of organization-wide needs and be able to suggest solutions for resolution.
- To provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users.
- To maintain user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- To maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices
- To produce regular reports for Business Analyst Manager and Project Manager giving updates on current projects and for future projects that have been submitted for evaluation, as appropriate.
Scope 2: Manage Business Solutions team
- Analyze new business initiatives and transform related business requirements into IT solution proposals including cost benefit case, key deliverables, issues & risks etc.
- Understand organization-wide issues and recommending appropriate work plans to deliver desired outcomes
- Work with other teams in the IT planning process, managing dependencies across the work streams and coordinating of activities where appropriate.
- Define system development roadmaps
- Maintain oversight of all IT strategic projects being managed across the organization.
- Work closely with Project Sponsors to define Project objectives, scope, key deliverables, budget, and implementation plan.
- Maintain and ensure quality of project deliverables (Quality Assurance)
- Produce regular progress reports for Head of IT and Project Sponsors on current projects and for future projects that have been submitted for evaluation, as appropriate.
- Ensure proper sign off for implemented projects and ensure they are handed over to the business owner upon completion.
- Implement and maintain a document storage system that will contain all project documentation
- Responsible and accountable for the management of direct reports including the recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal, and development of team resources.
- To train technical solution & business domain knowledge for new members
- To join IT solution assessment and validation
Job Accountability: This role is to:
- Be accountable for the requirement clarifications with business user.
- Be accountable for translation into IT specification from business requirements.
- Be accountable for conducting coordinate between business and IT side for any misunderstanding and agreed on solution to move forward.
- Be accountable for conducting UAT plan and UAT test cases.
- Be accountable for engagement with any new initiatives from business.
- Be accountable for finalize the functional condition to close project with business.
- Be accountable for implementation plan both in-house development and outsourcing development
- Be accountable for support both system and business training
- Assist the IT Solution Head by taking responsibility for the implementation of strategic solutions
- Maintain oversight of all IT strategic projects being managed across the organization.
- Work closely with Project Sponsors to define Project objectives, scope, key deliverables, budget, and implementation plan.
- Collaborate with project leads to deliver initiatives within the agreed scope and timescale to achieve objectives efficiently

Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level in a Computing discipline or equivalent.
- Over 3 years with BA experience or User experience in system development; prefer in life insurance industry.
- Experience of system development management, prefer Agile
Knowledge and skill
- Strong business analysis skills and business process engineering skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills enabling effective communication of complex technical issues to non - technical users at all levels of the Organization.
- Excellent English skills (Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Jira & Confluence
- Team management and staff development
- Project budget management and financial controls, Vendor management
- Ability to manage relationships at various levels within the organization
- Ability to influence and resolve conflict through timely and transparent communications.
- Ability to effectively manage through change, whether a change in business requirements, business priorities, or in resources
