This role involves working closely with internal stakeholders and brand teams to adapt to demand changes and ensure stock availability for customer events.

The primary function is to ensure an efficient supply chain exists through collaborating on forecasting and replenishment planning for Brands within your Portfolio. You will own the demand planning process and its continuous improvement ensuring future risk and mitigation strategies are called out. You will order stock to replenish stock into the Mecca network to meet inventory targets.

The Role You Could Play:   

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create a consensus sales forecast, adjusting as necessary to address abnormal trends or demand.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of demand changes, including new product development (NPD), events, campaigns, and product exits.
  • Partner with brand teams on forecasting for new items, ensuring alignment on product ranges and strategies such as cannibalization.
  • Place and manage purchase orders in alignment with the brand’s order placement cycle.
  • Manage the product ordering process to meet KPIs for stock availability, service levels, and stock holding.
  • Ensure stock availability for events to deliver exceptional customer experiences and sales performance.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in demand and supply planning.
  • Retail or FMCG experience is highly desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • High-level interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various teams.
  • Knowledge of merchandise management and/or supply chain systems
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to systems challenges.
