Fragomen, the leading global business immigration services firm, is searching for a Human Resources Business Partner for our Sao Paulo, Brazil location. This position will provide lead Human Resources support for legal teams in Brazil and throughout the region, as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all facets of day-to-day Human Resources support in the Sao Paulo Office
- Serve as a knowledgeable HR advisor to local partners and managers in addressing employee relations matters
- Support the development and implementation of the Firms' HR initiatives, tools, and systems
- Provide counseling on policies and procedures
- Collaborate with HR functional areas to ensure delivery of Talent Acquisition support, Talent Management program delivery and Total Rewards initiatives.
- Manage performance review and the annual merit increase processes for employees in the areas of responsibility.
- Be actively involved in recruitment by managing the hiring process
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans
- Develop training and development programs
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
- Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure we are competitive and per market
- Facilitate the identification of training needs as well as the delivery and tracking of job- specific and supervisory training leveraging the Talent Management team as appropriate.
- Assess morale level, collect feedback, and assist in maintaining a positive working environment
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience as HR officer, administrator, or other HR position
- Knowledge of HR functions (recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Understanding of disciplinary procedures
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience using Workday or another HR systems a plus
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
- Strong ethics and reliability
- Fluent in English is a must, Spanish is a plus
