Under the general direction of a manager, the HRIS Configuration Analyst is responsible for providing systems and business processes - from analysis to design and configuration to development, testing, and implementation - for low to medium complexity technological solutions to support Human Resources needs, primarily in Workday. This includes, but is not limited to, HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Performance, Benefits, Payroll, People Experience (Help), People Analytics, and Prism modules, and requires working knowledge of Security

Technical (85%):

  • Design, test, and implement scalable, flexible, and maintainable business processes and solutions to meet identified business needs.
  • Produce high quality documentation, including business requirements, procedures, operational and process flow documents, and test scripts.
  • Work with L&D team to develop end-user documentation and training, as needed.
  • Ensure high quality deployments by leading and/or participating in testing efforts. Maintain data integrity and accuracy within the system.
  • Work with HR Centers of Excellence to create and load EIBs, including data conversion efforts for mergers and acquisitions. Research, design, configure, test, implement, and maintain Workday in support of the strategy and needs, while maintaining internal controls.
  • Assist with the day to day operational needs of Workday including user management, role changes, data changes, reporting, and analysis as needed.
  • Develop and modify reports, analytics, metrics, and dashboards for leaders and HR Centers of Excellence.
  • Assist in managing and testing Workday releases, identifying impact and enhancement opportunities

Strategic (15%):

  • Partner and consult with business leaders to understand their business strategy and needs and to optimize business processes Identify requirements, perform analysis, and effectively communicate technical solutions to stakeholders. 
  • Research current and future capabilities of Workday to understand how the company can best utilize the new functionality.
  • Serve as test manager for efforts as needed, creating and managing the project plan, timeline, and resources and/or test plans, test scenarios, and test execution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, analytics or related field 1-2 years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position
  • Working knowledge of HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Advanced knowledge MS Excel (pivot tables, macros, v-lookup)
  • Proven ability to analyze processes, systems, and data Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to express complex technical and business concepts in terms that are understandable to all levels within the organization
  • Highly effective organizational skills and time management in order to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • System implementation experience
  • Workday certification or experience
  • Six Sigma Yellow, Green, or Black Belt
