SUMMARY

We are seeking a hardworking, innovative, and collaborative Workday HRIS Analyst with experience in diverse organizations and industries. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Workday Manager in the maintenance and enhancement of our Workday Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of HR processes, data structures, and HRIS best practices.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Configure and maintain the Workday HRIS system, including data fields, business processes, integrations, and reporting.
  • Assist with HRIS data migration and integration projects, ensuring data quality and system compatibility.
  • Prepare and execute cross-application test scenarios with the HR team, ensuring all changes and enhancements are fully tested and meet all business requirements.
  • Stay up to date with Workday releases and new features and assess their potential impact on our HR processes and systems.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and user guides to educate HR staff and employees on HRIS functionality and best practices.
  • Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for HRIS-related issues, including system errors, data discrepancies, and user access.
  • Maintain documentation of HRIS processes, procedures, and system configurations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity within the HRIS system.
  • Generate and analyze HRIS reports to support HR and business decision-making.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience as a Workday HRIS Analyst or similar role
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in Workday HCM modules, including Core HR, Absence, Time Tracking, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Learning, Recruiting, and Talent Management
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and best practices
  • Experience with HRIS implementation, configuration, and maintenance
  • Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Workday certification is preferred, but not required

ADDITIONAL JOB DESCRIPTION

  • This position will report to the Workday Manager and have significant interactions with the VP Human Resources as well as the entire HR team, IT team, and other key stakeholders.
  • Hybrid work arrangement with presence on campus. General open office and campus environment.
  • Travel up to 10%.
