Team / division overview

  • The Reward team is a central global function of the global DWS HR division, and is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of the Reward and Compensation strategy for DWS. The team work on multi-faceted strategic and regulatory activities across the Compensation and Reward landscape and are required to work in close cooperation with a number of contacts across HR and Service Providers, as well as senior management across all business lines of DWS and colleagues from Risk, Legal and Communications departments.

Your key responsibilities

As a Reward Specialist you will:

  • Work together with the global Reward Advisory team to deliver core products relating to DWS global compensation framework such as functional compensation ranges, pay-mix governance, and applicable policies and procedure documentation
  • Take responsibility regarding the global benchmarking process including complex data management and interactions with multiple stakeholders within DWS and external partners
  • Prepare impactful analysis, meeting materials or presentations as required to facilitate senior stakeholder engagement and management approvals
  • Provide support to DWS HR Relationship Managers and business clients in delivery of year end compensation process and provision of advice on policy and procedures.

Your skills and experience

  • Experienced HR data analytics skills including setting up databases with complex formulas
  • Solid HR and Reward experience gained within a global corporate, financial services or management consulting environment
  • Strong team player, with proven ability to work in a global team and drive results both collaboratively and independently
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to influence a wide range of decision-makers
  • Educated to degree level or with relevant industry experience 
  • Business fluent in written and spoken English, German language skills helpful but not mandatory
  • Very good Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel)
