We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful HR Generalist & Recruiter to join our team in either Bogotá or Medellín, Colombia. This hybrid role combines responsibilities across human resources management, recruitment, and site/facilities coordination. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in supporting the organization's people strategy by attracting top talent, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring smooth office operations. You will be essential in helping to scale, integrate, and support the day-to-day operations of a growing team in Colombia.
HR Generalist Duties
- Support the execution of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company guidelines.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees by addressing workplace concerns, conflict resolution, and career development.
- Facilitate training programs and employee development initiatives to promote continuous learning and growth.
- Administer employee benefits and compensation plans, including payroll support in coordination with U.S. based People Team.
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new hires have a positive and seamless transition into the organization.
- Partner with local management and cross-functional stakeholders to design and launch programs and strategies in relation to operational excellence, employee engagement, and internal communications.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various roles within the Colombian market and specifically in Bogota or Medellín.
- Collaborate with the Lead, Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create sourcing strategies.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating assessments.
- Maintain a talent pipeline by building strong networks and relationships with potential candidates and external recruiters.
- Work closely with the U.S. based Talent Acquisition team
Site Coordination & Office Management
- Ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the Bogotá or Medellín office, including facilities management and supplier coordination.
- Manage office supplies, and equipment needs to support a productive work environment.
- Plan and organize company events, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
- Act as the point of contact for external vendors, contractors, and building management.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with U.S. based HR teams to align on policies and initiatives.
- Provide regular reports on key HR /People metrics, including recruitment performance, turnover, and employee engagement.
- Support efforts to foster a culture of belonging.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar HR generalist and/or recruitment (talent acquisition) role.
- Strong knowledge of Colombian labor laws and employment regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across the organization.
- Proven experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and recruiting platforms. Workday experience and Greenhouse a plus.
- Fluent in Spanish; Fluent in English
- You are based in either Bogota or Medellin with the ability to work in an office 3x/week
- You are able to travel to either Bogota or Medellin as needed
