Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in Romanian
- English proficiency at C1/C2 level for effective communication in a global business environment
Experience:
- Significant HR experience in Shared Services environments
- Proven history with process improvement and understanding operational challenges
Leadership and Operations Focus:
- Strong operational acumen with hands-on experience in HR process optimization
- Leadership capabilities to support the entire Romania office and partner closely with site leadership
Legal and Compliance Knowledge:
- Strong grasp of labor laws and ability to manage employee relations in a GSS (Global Shared Services) setting
- Familiarity with safety, quality, integrity, and compliance standards
Core Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Drive strategic and operational HR initiatives
- Implement people-centric programs tailored to a rapidly growing site
- Work with site leadership to build a cohesive, motivated, and engaged workforce
Site Partnership & Guidance:
- Collaborate with the site’s leadership team, providing critical HR guidance
- Foster alignment between HR initiatives and business objectives
Global Coordination:
- Act as a liaison with Global Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure alignment in recruitment, performance management, compensation planning, and career development
- Provide active support to the Site Head on HR functions (recruitment, L&D, rewards, succession planning)
Operational Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of the Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) aligned with workforce expansion projections
- Demonstrate a strong operational focus to improve processes and streamline HR functions
Employee Relations and Compliance:
- Skilled in labor law applications, managing employee grievances, and fostering a positive workplace culture in a GSS setup
- Lead by example, promoting a culture of safety, quality, integrity, and compliance
Additional Competencies:
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex HR strategies and issues to various levels within the organization
- Influence: Skilled in influencing across organizational levels to drive results and implement change effectively
- Creativity & Business Acumen: Ability to apply innovative HR solutions to drive people engagement, leveraging a strong understanding of business operations and challenges
