What You’ll Do:

As an HR Administrator at ChaiOne, you’ll be the wizard behind the scenes, making sure everything runs like a well-oiled machine. From managing employee benefits to organizing performance appraisals and creating an amazing employee experience, your role will be at the heart of what makes our company great!

  • Benefits Management – Making Benefits Fun:
    • Help employees navigate the exciting world of benefits, from 401(k) enrollment to dental, vision, and everything in between.
    • Run Open Enrollment like a pro, keeping things smooth and stress-free for all.
    • Coordinate fun and informative annual 401(k) info sessions to keep employees in the know and ready to invest in their future.
    • Oversee our BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) program – because who doesn’t love tech perks?
  • Performance Appraisals & Career Development – Growth is Our Jam:
    • Keep the wheels turning for performance appraisals, career development, and all things employee growth.
    • Manage the creation and coordination of training decks for both employees and managers – making learning as fun as it is impactful.
    • Help schedule and organize performance appraisals that drive career development and foster growth.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding – The Ultimate Welcome & Send-Off:
    • Kick off new hires' journeys with a bang through our fun and thorough onboarding process.
    • Organize everything from I-9 processing to the all-important "Culture Checkup," complete with a welcome package, company swag, and our epic Amazon supply list.
    • Manage the offboarding process for departing employees, ensuring they leave with great memories, while handling everything from exit interviews to benefits offboarding (hello, COBRA!).
  • Payroll & Expenses – No Stress, Just Success:
    • Keep payroll running smoothly with regular reviews and approvals of expenses, and ensure all employee records are accurate and up-to-date.
    • Help employees get their travel and expense requests approved and processed, making sure they’re taken care of every step of the way.
  • Culture & Employee Engagement – Let’s Keep It Fun:
    • Be the go-to person for all things related to employee engagement – plan and help execute exciting company events, like our annual C1 Holiday Party, monthly events, and retreats.
    • Celebrate employee milestones (birthdays, anniversaries, babies, you name it!) and coordinate recognition programs like Employee of the Quarter.
    • Help create a culture where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and motivated.
  • Compliance & Training – Keeping Us on Track:
    • Ensure everyone is up-to-date with mandatory harassment training (because respect is key!) and track compliance with regulatory changes.
    • Help keep the employee handbook fresh and engaging, and push out updates to the team.
    • Oversee ongoing leadership training and professional development, helping our leaders grow and develop their skills.
  • Process Documentation & HR Systems – Your Tech-Savvy Expertise:
    • Create and update HR processes and documentation that help everyone in the company thrive.
    • Maintain our Confluence page and keep it filled with the latest updates on benefits, expenses, training, performance, and more!

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in HR administration or a similar role.
    • Proven experience in benefits administration, performance management, and employee onboarding/offboarding.
    • Familiarity with HRIS systems, payroll software (e.g., ADP), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented approach.
    • Ability to manage sensitive information confidentially and with professionalism.
    • Tech-savvy, with the ability to utilize HR systems and automation tools to streamline workflows.
    • Familiarity with labor laws and HR compliance regulations.
