We are now looking for our Head of Logistics, who will drive and further develop foodora Norway’s logistics strategy while leading the team through innovation, efficiency, and engagement.

The logistics department is at the heart of foodora’s operations and plays a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive food, groceries, and other goods efficiently, safely, and promptly. The department manages everything from the recruitment and onboarding of riders to operational planning, fleet optimization, and compliance.

This role reports to the Managing Director of foodora Norway and collaborates closely with regional and global teams at Delivery Hero.


What you will do:

  • Take responsibility for both the operational leadership of the logistics department and optimization projects to support continued growth.

  • Develop our existing logistics team by challenging and supporting them to create an exceptional work environment.

  • Create and execute the logistics strategy for foodora Norway.

  • Oversee the logistics budget, with metrics such as cost per order.

  • Continuously improve delivery quality by balancing the needs of our customers, drivers, restaurant partners, and technical capabilities.

  • Understand and navigate the priorities of various stakeholders (riders, employees, works councils, political stakeholders, etc.).

  • Work closely with counterparts in other markets and the regional Delivery Hero team to share best practices and optimize cross-border operations.

  • Facilitate the overall development of the company while understanding the importance of logistics across departments.

  • Advantage with knowledge of risk management, labor law, and compliance: Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including safety regulations and anti-money laundering laws, is an advantage.
