Job Description:
The D1 Graphic Designer at Pattern is responsible for contributing their design thinking and execution skills across a wide variety of projects and industries. You will be given guidance and direction from your Senior Graphic Designer and Art Director and given the opportunity to develop concepts that best bring to life the brand story and strategy. You will be responsible for market research and competitive audits so you can be deeply immersed in the industries you're designing for and expected to compile this information so the internal team can collectively assess key areas of design opportunity. Most importantly, you bring a hunger for learning, are always seeking opportunities to execute on the "what-ifs", and are a team player ready and willing to support in all areas of creative need.
Core Responsibilities / Job Duties:
• Passionate about conceptual thinking and design development
• Actively pursue opportunities to further Develop design-thinking and technical execution skills
• Create design assets for Amazon product listings, A+ content and storefronts that align with overall creative strategy,
brand style guides
• Conduct thorough brand research to deliver assets that resonate with the target audience while maintaining brand
consistency
• Ensure that all design elements adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across various products,
including layout, typography, color, and imagery
Key skills and areas for development, many of which support advancement
• Ability to be a great team player, a good listener and take design direction well
• Improvements made in overall design execution/creation and overall design aesthetic
• Handles more responsibility and tasks with less supervision
• Shows strong conceptual thinking and ideation
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited design program in directly related field of study
• Portfolio showcasing strong conceptual thinking and design
• Good communication and organizational skills
• 0–3 years of relevant experience; agency setting preferred
• Knowledge of industry standard programs such as Adobe CS (XD, Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop), MS office,
Google Workspace
• Handles multiple tasks and/or at one time
