UX Designer
Would you like to contribute to the future of Vanderlande? Are you able to do research, analysis and think outside the box? To form a UX vision and come up with creative solutions to tackle the challenges of our users?
As a UX Designer it is your job to understand our business and users and translate this into compelling UX designs as the basis of Vanderlande’s Digital twin software.
You are curious and love to collaborate with Product Managers, development teams and UX/UI Design colleagues to realize the needs of our users, customers and the company strategy of Vanderlande.

Your position
You ensure that our digital products optimally meet our users’ needs. You are able perform user research and translate findings into wireframes, prototypes and ready-for-development designs whilst making use of standards and best practices.
Collaboration is key to you, as you will need to handover the design and be the voice of our users to the development team. You know what agile working encompasses and are experienced in Scrum.
Tasks and responsibilities:

Understand the business and users’ context and goals.

Design UI interactions and prototypes that illustrate key product interactions.

Test your prototypes and identify design opportunities to improve usability.

Enthusiastically collaborate with the product development team and UX/UI colleagues to ensure delivery of value to our customers.
Your profile
The combination of your open-minded personality, your understanding of the customer’s business and the users of our systems, combined with your design skills is the key success factor for this job.

You have a Master’s degree in Design (Industrial or Interaction/Multimedia) with 3+ years relevant working experience;

You have Design Thinking experience, so you can deal with uncertainty and have a curious, flexible and agile mindset;

You are a team player in a communicative world with excellent communicative and analytical skills;

You enjoy working in an international setting and you are willing to travel;

You have excellent knowledge of the English language (any other language is a plus).

You know the latest design tools and especially Figma doesn’t have secrets for you too.

Experience in designing enterprise software is a pre.

Domain knowledge in the Airports, Warehouse and/or Parcel domain is a pre

Experience with Digital Twin solution is also a pre.
