The Job:  

As a Global Project Manager, you’ll be part of our Industrial team working as a remote employee.   

You’ll get to:   

• Partner with Business Unit leaders and external resources to align on network planning requirements, in terms of volume outlook, cost, lead time, and available capital.
• Drive and facilitate decision making on product allocation to manufacturing sites and contract manufacturers.
• Analyze supply chain constraints and assist in developing lean strategies to drive sustainability & flexibility. Communicate risks and operational mitigation plans to the business.
• Planning: Conduct periodic long term capacity reviews of the manufacturing and logistics network along with the supply planning teams to identify/forecast potential bottlenecks and support the program plan, budget, and resources
• Craft, communicate, and implement the program’s objectives and strategies.
• Manage multiple projects and project interdependencies that make up the program.
  Note, the program and supporting sub projects may change over time which is consistent with a global business unit ongoing needs.
• Maintain program/project documentation and aim to maximize ROI, e.g. Make-vs-Buy Project tracker linked to program’s objectives and strategies.
• Monitor and report on projects’ progress to milestones and changes, defining and measuring program success according to KPIs
• Overseeing and leading project managers
• Collaborating cross-functionally to manage program plan, budget, and resources
• Ability to engage operations and functional leaders in meaningful reviews of operational KPI’s to determine appropriate responses to close gaps
• Report on progress of projects, understanding the risks, dependencies, budgets, resourcing, issues, critical milestones and forthcoming pipeline, and actions necessary to ensure success
• Provide project management, analytical and research skills and expertise.
• Produce written reports, prepare presentations and supporting materials, that can be cascaded though spans and layers of the organization.  Program updates will need to reach a wide-ranging audience from factory workers though to BOD’s.

• BSc/BA diploma in management or a relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus.
• Possess strong project management experience with large and complex projects.
• Possess a broad knowledge of project and program management methodologies.
• Able to understand the wider objectives of the program, such as business and strategic goals.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
• Experience of large complex business operations with a global footprint
• Strong verbal and written communication for presentations and proposal writing
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, travel % may vary based on business needs and will include international travel.
