Job Description

Logic20/20 is seeking a well-organized, efficient, and enthusiastic General Accountant, with an eye for detail and accuracy, to join our Seattle-based Finance Team. This is a wonderful opportunity to have a positive impact on different areas in the Company and to expand your skillset. The successful candidate will be comfortable in a small, but fast-paced office environment. 

The General Accountant reports to the Controller and will be responsible for general accounting duties, accounts payable, business expense reimbursement, monthly close and administrative support, and confirming the accuracy of financial transactions. Your day-to-day tasks will span a wide range of activities. 

Responsibilities: 

Accounts Payable 

  • Prepares and processes payments for vendor invoices and other financial obligations in accordance with internal accounting policies. 
  • Ensures vendors are paid in a timely and accurate manner, confirms contracts accurately reflect terms and conditions agreed, and reviews purchase orders, statements, and invoices. 
  • Responds to and resolve any vendor internal and external inquiries. Ensures vendor issues are escalated and resolved promptly and resolves any discrepancies in billings and payments. 
  • Maintains vendor records and reconciles accounts payable ledger. 
  • Processes employee expense reimbursements, manages approval and processes corporate credit card charges, and monitors expense policy compliance. 

General Accounting 

  • Assists in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded and in accordance with GAAP. 
  • Responsible for general ledger balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations, journal entries, cost allocations, business expense reimbursements, controls review, and process improvement. 
  • Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. 
  • Functions in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable regulations. 
  • Performs ad hoc projects/tasks as requested. 
  • Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. 

Qualifications

  • 3-4+ years of accounting experience. 
  • Minimum of 1 year of accounts payables experience. 
  • Strong technical GAAP accounting background. 
  • Working knowledge of Workday or similar accounting system or ERP. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, databases, and advanced Excel skills. 
  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities, meet deadlines, and respond to changes productively. 
  • Demonstrated integrity and professionalism, with a strong understanding of data security and confidentiality requirements. Ability to appropriately handle and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive financial information. 
  • Excellent listening and communication skills. 
  • Ability to work well with others and collaborate with a team. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field. 
  • Experience working at a professional services company is highly preferred. 

Additional Information

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Wage Range: $32.50-$40.87 per hour
