This Accountant will be responsible for supporting a global engineering services operation. As an Accountant, a typical day might include the following:
Under direct supervision:
-
Performing or auditing standard journal entries, account analyses, workpapers, and reconciliations, and assisting in performing month-end close tasks, and/or the preparation of tax returns.

Preparing analysis of financial results for management review.

Preparing and/or assisting with the preparation of budgets, projections, project performance analyses, and other analyses, including recommendations to management, and/or assisting in the documentation of internal controls.

Assisting with research and planning according to generally accepted accounting principles and/or current tax laws.

Assisting with special projects.
This job might be for you if you:

Have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Are motivated and self-directed.

Have experience with Excel.

Have knowledge of accounting and finance principles, theories, and concepts based on educational experience.

Have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Internship experience.
-
Familiarity with project accounting and percentage of completion revenue recognition.

Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or tax systems.
-
Tax, audit, project, and/or cost accounting experience.

Pay Range Data
Accountant $75,000 - $91,200 per year. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Our ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
