Requirements,
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Logistics, Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, project management, or logistics, ideally within a first-mile or supply chain environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Looker Studio, etc) and experience with data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the logistics industry and first-mile processes is a plus.
Responsibilities,
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to the first-mile process, focusing on metrics impacting the shipper experience such as lead times, fulfillment accuracy, and cost efficiency.
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and potential improvements in first-mile operations through data-driven insights, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
- Define, develop, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that track the effectiveness of improvements and measure the overall impact on the shipper experience.
- Develop an understanding of the shipper's journey, gather feedback from shippers, and analyze data to identify pain points and areas of opportunity for enhancing the shipper experience.
- Lead data-driven projects that improve operational processes, including creating timelines, tracking progress, and communicating results to stakeholders.
- Create dashboards and reports to visualize complex data in a clear, understandable way for stakeholders and to facilitate decision-making.
- Proactively stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies that can enhance our data analytics capabilities and improve the shipper experience.
