We are searching for: Financial Planning & Control Analyst, role based in our HQ in Rome.
The candidate will support the Financial Planning & Control team in the analysis of actual business performance and in the definition of prospective/forecast company’s results, with strong focus on revenues and costs, through continuous interactions with all corporate departments and other group entities. The candidate will also be involved in strategic initiatives, critical for the business future development, with broad visibility to the company’s top management.
Key responsibilities
- Monthly and quarterly P&L closing with reporting to managing team and to group stakeholders
- Support and coordination of internal stakeholders in the definition of forecast and budget company’s results
- Business performance measurement and analysis of variances
- Revenue and cost structure analysis and optimization
- Involvement in strategic projects, even with international reach
- Support in the redaction of presentations and analysis for institutional meetings
- Design trusted and intuitive business reports on company’s KPIs
Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Engineering, Statistics or Mathematics
- Excellent data analysis skills and strong computational skills
- Preferably 3-4 years of experience in same or similar role
- Advanced knowledge of Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong “can-do” mentality and “drive” to accomplish tasks and deliver results
- Good teamwork, positive attitude, and flexibility
- Fluent in English, able to work in an international environment and with international teams
- Spanish and a strong sense of curiosity are considered as a plus
