Job Overview:
The Financial Controller oversees the day-to-day activities of the financial controlling and reporting, accounting, tax, salary treasury, risk, and purchases to pay and ensures the company's finance function is organized and efficient and produces accurate financial and management ledgers.
Job Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities
- Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, monthly analysis and preparation of the financial statements of the business, including schedules for tax compliance, local profitability and TP adjustments.
- Responsible of company’s financial closing and lead TB variances (Income Statement and Balance Sheet) meetings with all function towers; P2P, O2C, Inventory, FA, GA, Treasury at GBS at month ends.
- Assure financial activities and results are in compliance with USGAAP, IL GAAP, SOX policies/procedures and local tax and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain internal controls as Country SOX Coordinator to support the financial infrastructure, present financial reporting, KPI and potential risk areas to senior management and liaise with external advisors for ongoing and new projects.
- Own the salary process together with local HR.
- Supports finance organizational strategies and business plan by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction.
- Personal Data Protection.
- Act in accordance with respecting privacy and other relating procedures.
Required Experience:
- University degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance (MBA and CPA are strong plus)
- 4-6 years’ experience in financial analysis/consulting in a multinational company
- Experience in cross-functional work/project
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Fluent in Hebrew and English
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
