The Opportunity
Drive financial excellence as our Finance Operations Manager! In this pivotal role, you'll be at the heart of optimizing our company's financial operations, leveraging your expertise in financial processes, systems, and controls. We're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented finance whiz with exceptional analytical and communication skills, and a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role reporting directly to the SVP, Finance & Operations.
Your Job ResponsibilitiesWhat you will be doing:
- Financial and Operational Efficiency
- Collaborate with other departments, including Sales & Marketing, R&D, Customer Experience, HR and Legal, to ensure alignment of financial and operational goals.
- Assist in the documentation of and compliance with financial controls to safeguard company assets,
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Financial Planning and Reporting Support:
- Support the company's budgeting process, working with department heads to develop and monitor budgets
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for lenders and investors
- Data Analytics:
- Maintain and track key SaaS metrics with the use of BI tools such as Domo.
- Assist in the analysis of financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Insurance Management:
- Assist in managing relationships with insurance brokers.
- Support insurance renewals, ensuring adequate coverage.
- Assist in managing Certificates of Insurance (COIs) to customers and from vendors.
- Procurement and Contract Management:
- Assist in managing vendor contracts, ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Support the procurement process, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Your SkillsetWhat makes you a great fit for the team:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in finance operations.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with great attention to details
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify solutions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in NetSuite is required.
- Experience with
- Adaptive Planning for budgeting and forecasting.
- BI tools (e.g., Domo) for data analysis and reporting.
- Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software is a plus.
- Experience managing insurance programs and vendor contracts.
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $125k - $165k. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.

Pay Range
$125,000—$165,000 USD

- Hub - 100% work from Simpplr office. Role requires Simpplifier to be in the office full-time.
- Hybrid - Hybrid work from home and office. Role dictates the ability to work from home, plus benefit from in-person collaboration on a regular basis.
- Remote - 100% remote. Role can be done anywhere within your country of hire, as long as the requirements of the role are met.
