Job Description SummaryThis individual will be responsible for operational controllership activities related to GE’s Remedial portfolio, specifically the US and Canada sites and also full ownership for the total portfolio’s system subledger “GCEPs” . The appropriate candidate will partner with the ops teams to ensure reserve backup is properly documented and support operations with financial needs related to their sites. This role will also interact with sourcing, tax, and the broader controllership teams for daily work as well as special projects, and ad hoc analysis as needed.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
• Responsible for Corporate Holdings sites in the US and Canada Portfolios (~160 sites)
• Key partner in subledger system rollout – getting up to speed on system design, partner in testing, validation and training for a 2025 go live.
• Key responsibilities include partnering with the ops team to ensure reserve ask requirements are met and strategizing/understanding the future of the sites to support ops in most effectively move the site through the remediation process.
• Quarter and monthly close responsibilities include GCEPs system maintenance, report generation, account reconciliations and team support.
• Key contact for auditors and responding to audit and DR requests for their site portfolio.
• Operational owner of the EHS remedial subledger ‘GCEPS’ and partnering with IT where needed to build in enhancements and generate reporting requests. This ownership entails all elements of system maintenance and support.
• Will lead special projects as identified
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- Prior Experience in EHS accounting, operational controllership processes, including account reconciliations, chart of accounts, intercompany transactions, and external reporting.
- Minimum 5-10 years of strong financial analysis and/or controllership experience

The base pay range for this position is $124.500 to 180,000 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.
