As a Finance Analyst in Logistics, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating financial activities for our extensive logistics operations, which encompass over 160 warehouses and nearly $200M in spend across 35 ERP systems. This position is integral to establishing financial processes and controls from the ground up within a complex chemical manufacturing environment. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, driving decision-making through data-driven insights and financial analysis.
What You Will Do:
- Coordinate financial cycles across IM for Freight and Warehouse operations, including period close, outlook forecasting, profit planning, and long-range planning.
- Inventory and Excess/Obsolete monitoring and analysis
- Responsible for International Trade controlling
- Collaborate with I-trade leadership and logistics managers to understand international freight cost and consequently drive operational excellence and cost efficiency.
- Support cross-functional special projects that may involve interaction with global HQ, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and the Commercial Organization. Projects may include tariffs, premium freight management, and localization initiatives.
- Develop and implement best-in-class logistics reporting and analytics, focusing on inventory analysis, variance analysis, and cost centre reporting.
- Prepare materials for key logistics financial meetings, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
- Identify and implement process improvements across all financial functions, ensuring standardization and compliance within the logistics finance domain.
- Serve as the primary contact for logistics finance coordination across different regions, addressing analytics gaps and enhancing reporting standards.
- Coordinate with the Global Business Intelligence data analytics team to align on global analytics initiatives and develop innovative solutions for improving analytics capabilities.

What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years experience in finance alongside,
- 2+ years of experience in logistics finance, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial reporting tools such as SAP, Power BI, and SQL.
- Proficiency in English
- Direct experience in financial analysis, accounting, and budgeting within a logistics context.
- Ability to manage large data sets and perform data extraction from various systems.
- Proven ability to build partnerships with diverse groups and effectively communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Results-oriented with excellent time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities in a highly complex environment.
