This is a permanent full-time hybrid position. While we offer flexibility with office attendance, this role requires some in-office presence and cannot be fully remote.
About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Finance Administrator to support Civica’s Local Government sales division, one of our largest teams. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring accurate data collection, validation, and analysis to inform financial decision-making and support contract management. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will act as a key partner of the team, assisting with contract-related enquiries, pricing, and financial insights.

- Support the Local Government sales team with contract-related enquiries, ensuring accurate data validation and information flow.
- Analyse financial aspects of contracts, including pricing and cost considerations, to inform business decisions.
- Extract and validate data across systems, ensuring information is complete and accurate.
- Identify connections between documents and systems, ensuring consistency and reliability of financial data.
- Provide guidance to the sales function on financial processes, including Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) figures.
- Assist in operational tasks, such as data analysis to maintain smooth business processes.
- Work closely with the sales team to address finance-related matters, offering clear and actionable advice.
- Proven experience in data entry, administration, or finance-related roles, with strong attention to detail.
- Commercial acumen with an understanding of cost structures, P&L basics, and pricing analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookup formulas, with the ability to analyse and present data clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to identify patterns and connections in complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to support and advise the sales team effectively.
- Highly organised, motivated, and able to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
