The NetBrain Pre-Sales Engineering team is looking for an experienced Field Pre-Sales Engineer in the area of Network Management and Automation based remotely. This Field Pre-Sales Engineer will provide technical expertise throughout our sales process to our customers. Networking experience is of paramount importance in this search!
The Impact You’ll Make
The Field Pre-Sales Engineer will be on the front lines helping our Strategic and Enterprise Account Executives to close six and seven figure deals with the largest enterprises in the world. You will help Fortune 100 companies to transform their network operations, and you will make a massive impact in NetBrain’s growth as a company
What You’ll Do
- You will perform various pre-sales demos of NetBrain software both on-site (when travel is again safe and viable) and on-line for prospective customers consisting of network engineers, network managers, and key business stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership in the NetBrain Assisted Proof of Concept process (POC) via on-site and remote meetings with customers, proving NetBrain’s functionality and value in the customer’s environment.
- Perform deep analysis of customers' network environment by capturing requirements and IT management pain points and propose the most suitable solutions.
- Provide technical leadership on network technologies and deployments to internal NetBrain teams including pre-sales, post-sales, advanced services, marketing, and product management.
- Make recommendations on potential product improvements to the product development team according to customer feedback.
- Train and assist customers on using the many features of NetBrain to manage their network.
- You will be the technical point of contact to prospective customers via on-line meetings, phone or email.
Who You Are
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification
- Extensive knowledge of major vendors’ networking products configurations, operations, and deployments
- Experience implementing and troubleshooting dynamic routing protocols, QOS, Security, MPLS, Multicast, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communicator with strong technical presentation skills and the ability to manage key business stakeholders in very large enterprises
- You are a fast learner of highly complex technologies
- Previous Network Operations and/or NOC experience is preferred, not required
- Able to travel up to 50% within your territory

For this role, the estimated total on-target earnings is between $200,000 - $230,000 + Stock Options. The actual OTE may vary based on a range of factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
