You’ll be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of our participation in events worldwide, while also contributing to the development and implementation of our communication and marketing initiatives.
You are passionate about logistics and thrive in a role where organization is key. Bringing events to life excites you. This includes end-to-end event planning, from research and vendor negotiations to making sure every detail runs smoothly. You also have a keen interest in communication and marketing, and you’re excited to contribute to our broader outreach strategies, including social media and media relations.
Key Responsibilities:

This includes conducting initial research, managing the company event calendar and ensuring deadlines are met, social media posts, and coordinating with event organizers as needed.
  • Vendor Management & Logistics: Research international vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality support for our events (e.g., booths, equipment, stands).
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, sales, business development) to support the alignment of event objectives with overall business goals, prepare briefs, and ensure all teams are equipped for successful participation.
  • Post-Event Support: Working with our demand generation and sales support teams to monitor lead generation from events as well as media relations to maximize our presence and impact.
  • Communication Support: Assist in the execution of our broader communication strategy, including managing incoming communications requests, supporting social and media relations efforts, and submitting applications for awards.

Qualifications:

  • Location: Preference given for candidates based in Lisbon with a hybrid schedule (2 days in office minimum).
  • Language: Proficient level of English is required. Knowledge of Portuguese and other European languages is a plus.
  • Experience: 2 years experience in event management, ideally with international experience. Experience in B2B industries and/or technology sectors is a strong advantage.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, with a proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and complex logistics.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work effectively with distributed teams and manage remote communication. Experience working with cross-functional teams is a bonus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of additional areas of communication, such as social media management, PR, or internal communications.
  • Familiarity or interest in AI technologies and concepts such as natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and neural networks.

How we’ll measure success:

  • Event Success: Successful implementation of our annual global events plan, including smooth coordination and execution.
  • Lead Generation: Contribution to lead generation through events, supporting overall business development goals.
  • Process Improvement: Continuous improvement of event and communication processes to optimize outcomes and efficiency.
