Job Overview:
We have a unique and incredible opportunity for the right person. Files.com is a $33M+ Annual Recurring Revenue startup that is profitable, well-funded, and Private Equity backed. We have had this success without a marketing team. In the last few months we've been building a Marketing Team in Austin that will fuel exponential growth. This role will report directly into our Marketing Director and play a significant part in supporting our self-hosted marketing events. We are looking for individuals with a SaaS B2B Marketing background and the entrepreneurial interest to be a part of building a Marketing function at Files.com. Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning & Execution:
- Work with our clients to ensure they are aware of upcoming events we are hosting and sponsoring.
- Support the full lifecycle of event planning and execution for internal and external events, including trade shows, conferences, and corporate meetings.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define event goals, objectives, and deliverables.
- Identify and secure venues, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
- Event Promotion & Marketing:
- Support event-specific marketing plans, including email campaigns, social media promotions, and other marketing collateral.
- Work closely with the design and content teams to support the development of materials that drive attendance and engagement.
- Ensure event content and messaging is consistent with the overall brand strategy.
- Logistics & Onsite Management:
- Support the coordination of logistical aspects of events, including setup, registration, AV needs, catering, and teardown.
- Act as a point of contact during events, ensuring seamless execution and addressing any issues that arise.
- Contribute to post-event debriefs to evaluate event success, analyze feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Internal Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with various departments (sales, product, support, success, leadership) to ensure alignment on event goals and execution.
- Communicate with internal teams on event schedules, objectives, and responsibilities.
- Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and venues to ensure successful event execution.
- Post-Event Reporting & Analysis:
- Gather and analyze event data, including attendance, engagement metrics, and overall ROI.
- Provide post-event reports and recommendations for improving future events.
- Track expenses and support reconciliation of event budgets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in event marketing or event coordination, preferably with trade show experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel for trade shows and events as needed.
- Comfort making phone calls to existing clients
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in B2B event marketing.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media promotion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet during events.
