Background
We are seeking a talented and hands-on individual to join our Competency and Employee Engagement team as an Employee Engagement Specialist. The successful candidate will be part of a small team managing activities that positively impact employee engagement across Finance, its key global information platforms, and recognition programs.
The position reports into the Finance Competency and Employee Engagement Lead.
Main Responsibilities
Employee Engagement Management
- Develop, implement, and promote initiatives that effectively inform and engage employees about the organization's culture, values, achievements and strategic announcements.
- Identify improvement opportunities and develop innovative ways to enhance employee engagement and job satisfaction.
- Analyze survey results and collaborate with Finance Function leadership to develop action plans addressing identified areas for improvement.
Finance Intranet Portal Management
- Manage and maintain data and information on the global Finance Intranet Portal, ensuring content is accurate, accessible, and engaging.
- Work closely with stakeholders across Finance globally to ensure the content presented on the Finance Intranet Portal meets their needs and expectations.
- Monitor Finance Intranet Portal usage and satisfaction rates, implement necessary actions, and identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and standardize processes for collecting, approving, and implementing new Finance Intranet Portal content.
Finance Functions Recognition Program
- Manage the nomination and evaluation processes for global Finance Function recognition programs, identifying and implementing improvement and automation opportunities.
- Support the preparation and launch communication activities to effectively promote the recognition program, recognized employees, and outstanding initiatives.
- Organize award activities and coordinate the delivery of rewards to recognized employees.
Requirements
- University bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Fluent English speaker with strong writing and verbal communication skills as well as high levels of attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, result-oriented with strong networking and communication skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and experience in an international environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with remote global team and individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Hands-on creative and technical skills for developing high-quality assets in Microsoft 365 (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint) is an advantage.
- Experience with or interest in learning to work with low-code data visualization and automation software (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) is an advantage.
