Intellectual Property -Responsible for ensuring that HB Fuller’s Intellectual Property is properly protected. Quality System – Responsible to ensure all elements of Quality System always remain up to date and compliant. EH&S – Fully support and contribute to facility safety programs specifically regarding Management of Change, Process Safety Management [including HAZOP/Process Hazard Analysis]. Manage plant systems to maximize employee safety and minimize environmental risks. Monitor and review relevant country, regional and local safety, and health regulations for their impact upon the plant, its personnel, and its operations. Conduct inspections with managers, line managers, supervisors to ensure health and safety standards are observed and rectify unsafe or unsatisfactory conditions and practices before incidents can occur. Lean Manufacturing – Responsible to ensure that lean manufacturing processes including but not limited to 5S, Structured Problem-Solving Techniques. Improvement opportunities are identified, Kaizen processes are activated to maintain and drive the culture of continuous improvement within the production teams. Standard Operating Procedures -Responsible for ensuring that HB Fuller’s processing technology is effectively used by operating personnel to make products by developing, improving, and maintaining a controlled system of Standard Operating Procedures; including clearly defining operating parameters and guidelines to ensure the safe operation and production of high-quality products. Prepare and conduct local site management reviews of the Quality and safety systems. New Product Introduction & Scale Up -Collaborate with Chemist / Formulation Specialist on the proper scale up of new products, raw material substitution etc. Ensure Scale Up procedures including Failure Mode Effects Analysis have been effectively conducted, Manufacturing Instructions for Trial Production, QC Instructions once finalised are updated into our Quality System. Customer Quality Complaints -Drive investigation on customer complaints on product quality non-conformances which may be related to production. Analyze root causes of complaints to identify systemic deficiencies and develop action plans to eliminate these deficiencies. Quality System & Accreditations –Responsibility for ensuring compliance and continual improvement of existing quality system and processes to meet required customer and business critical to quality requirements. Collaborate -with Sales & Marketing, Production, Technical, Regional and Global Quality and Safety Teams to learn and share new ideas to improve the processes and consistency in product quality and reliability. Support networking capital [ inventory] reduction initiatives People Development and High Performance Team Building Culture – Responsible for training, development and up-skilling of production team members .Leveraging the cell leader /cell manufacturing structures in place to build high performance teams.
