Position Summary: 

The Director of Human Resources will play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth and success by developing and implementing effective HR strategies. The position will be responsible for leading a team of HR professionals and ensuring that all HR practices align with the overall business objectives. This important role will manage the HR teams’ part of the Proximus International organization and in alignment with the Proximus domestic business.

While the position will report to the Chief People Officer of Telesign, the role will be instrumental in managing, supporting, and aligning the HR policies, guidelines, and practices with BICS, Telesign, Proximus’ Global Capability Center (GCC), and works in partnership with Proximus domestic (Belgium).

The role will be key in driving Serbian HR practices while also being part of the overall international HR organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies that support the company's business goals and objectives.
  • Talent Acquisition: Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract and hire top-quality talent.
  • Learning & Development: Implement programs and initiatives to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and career development.
  • Talent Management: Familiar with Succession Planning to ensure identifying the strengths and gaps in leadership. Coaching and Mentoring.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Manage compensation practices and benefits. Understand compensation principal and practices, including market research.
  • Performance Management: Manage the annual performance management process and overall employee performance.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by addressing employee concerns and promoting employee engagement.
  • Employee Experiences: Promote a positive work environment that celebrates organizational and employee successes. Coordinate employee safety, welfare and wellness. Appreciating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • HR Operations: Ensure efficient and effective HR operations, including payroll, time and attendance, administration and HRIS administration.
  • Data Analytics: Report on and analyze people analytics.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with country and local labor laws and regulations.
  • HRIS: Familiar with using advanced HRIS tools
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities. The team includes Benefits, Human Resources Business Partner, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, HR Operations, and Reception.
  • Community Involvement: Represent the organization at community activities to enhance the organization's community profile.


Qualifications:

  • University Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including experience in a multinational company, and including a minimum of 5 years in leadership of a team of 10+ people is a must.
  • Experience working in a Technology company
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written required
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations in Serbia
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure and take responsibility
  • Strong people management and leadership skills
  • Result oriented with strong organizational skills and proactive approach
  • Good presentation and negotiation skills
  • Business orientation, critical thinking and strategic approach
  • Experience in setting up a Multi-Company Shared Service Center (SSC) HR is a plus.
